We collect the absolute minimum:
• Payment data: collected and processed entirely by Paddle.com (our Merchant of Record). We never see or store your card details.
• Email address: if you contact us or purchase a subscription, we retain your email for support and service communication.
• API usage data: if you use the API tier, we log request counts and timestamps for billing and rate limiting. We do not log request content.
• Embed widget analytics: for paid embed customers, we track aggregate view counts only — no user-level tracking, no cookies set by us.
• Server logs: standard web server logs (IP, user-agent, timestamp) retained for 30 days for security, then automatically deleted.
• We do not use tracking cookies, analytics pixels, fingerprinting or advertising networks.
• We do not sell, share or monetise your personal data in any way.
• We do not collect data from your visitors when you embed our widget (we serve no tracking scripts).
• Paddle.com processes payments and acts as Merchant of Record. Their privacy policy applies to payment data.
• Cloudflare provides CDN/DNS infrastructure.
• Public data sources (AISStream/openwaters, adsb.fi, NASA FIRMS, Google News) are queried server-side; no visitor data is sent to them.
You have the right to: access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection. To exercise any right, email abuse@ww3radar.com. We respond within 30 days.
You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
• Server logs: 30 days
• API usage records: 12 months (billing purposes)
• Email correspondence: 24 months
• Aggregated news candidates: 36 months (no personal data)
All connections are served over HTTPS. API keys are stored encrypted at rest. Access to production systems is restricted to the Operator. We conduct regular secret scans and never commit credentials to version control.
We will notify subscribers of material changes via email or the Service.
